Begin with clinical suitability

Ask your current clinician and the receiving provider what level of care is appropriate and whether travel should be considered now. A destination or luxury setting is not a substitute for assessing immediate needs.

Request a written proposal

Ask each provider for the proposed clinical services, responsible team, location, language arrangements, accommodation, duration and total fees. Record what is confirmed and what remains uncertain.

Separate admission from travel permission

A clinical offer does not establish entry permission or rules for carrying medication. Check the destination’s official requirements for your passport and circumstances before booking.

Prepare the return home

Agree who will coordinate follow-up, how records can be shared with consent and which local clinician will remain involved. Ask about remote follow-up, its limits and any additional fees.

This is a planning checklist, not a diagnosis or a personalised treatment recommendation. Ask qualified clinicians to assess your needs before making treatment or travel decisions.
